I say rebuild as that is what we have been doing.
Leaving or abandoning the forum would be giving into the lemonsucking idiot called Bro_C. He is the 1 who tried to kill it. So its the job of the members to make sure the forum is not killed. I think after everyone got over the initial shock of the 1st day or 2 we have tried to do just that and we're off to a great start for only 3 weeks.
I say keep doing what we are doing and the forum will be fine.

I would hate to have Lewasite destroyed like it was last month. But I do have Memberships in a number of sites so I would be able to contact most of the Members who Classic and I usually discuss with.
I hope that Lewasite is never damaged again but if it is I was able to get some of the information to a friend who is good with websites. He is a retired Baseball player who once played on the team with Classic.
He says that most things have a cyber file and although it might take some doing, he could possibly restore Lewasite to the condition it was in before the February 28 events.
He says that he has over four hundred Proboards Programs and access to rebuild most of them because sometimes boards crash.
It would be labor intensive and there would be a charge but Classic and I would consider it of there was another crash.

I reveived a Pm that Bro_c has Lewa's 1st account.
So, that means he could destroy this forum if he wants to.
That would be a really bad thing to do to the members who are enjoying it. But he could as he does have the power.
I guess we have to just participate with the realization someone could spoil it again. That's all I have about this.

bro_c tried to modify my sig so it said "let's rebuild Lewasite!! just like Dreamsite!!" I changed it, now it says:

Blastgirl, There are ways but I'm not computer skilled enough to roll it back but it is possible, I'm told.
For the others,
Bro_C has his email is bro_c@hotmail.com That can also be traced and he could be charged legally for destroying someone else's property if that were to happen and there is a need to do such a thing.
If there has to be a roll back and Classic's frined needs a few bucks for the repair, count me in. On the other forum in a private message and mail a check directly to your repair guy so you don't have to give me your email or an address or anything that could put your anonymous idenity needs at risk.
Hopefully it won't come to that.
This might surprise readers with the fact that TMTD and I have not been friends but he showed us a lot of honor when the forum was hacked last month.
He took the blame for something he did not do, and restored as much as he could although most of the damage was already done by the time he knew there was a problem.
I really just hope there's not another crashing of the forum like we had before.

Yes, I have the forum's admin account.
I can't be legally fined for using a moderator's account to delete topics. I've done nothing illegal.
I plan on returning the admin account back to Sizzlepop. Everything is still normal on the site.

Just because your actions don't have lasting, IRL consequences doesn't mean that they don't matter. If you had made an art project and spent years on it, and I came over and ripped it to shreds, no, you couldn't get in legal trouble, but it would still matter, wouldn't it?
