That lower 1 is gorgeous.
I love green anyway though so the sites colors are beautiful to me.
But I really like that last 1 but they are all really good.

Yeah the 2nd one is my favorite of the 2 aswell, when I made the original one I forgot to add a curve layer to help contrast things...
i added that to the 2nd one, =]

That is a super awesome logo my dad said I shoud try to draw a logo for display and see if its liked but I am a bad drawer I tried this but its nothing specal  |

That's pretty good Jason. I think if that were used I would make the backdrop a little smaller and perhaps move the establishment date and disclaimer that you sketched that closer to the Lewasite sign.
Is anybody else interested in making a prototype for the Logo?

looks like you used paint to draw it, for using that program you did a great job
it looks pretty nice, you should try doing what blastgirl suggested it would help out a lot!

I wish I could be more active right now to help decide the new logo.
Well, I will suggest this. Logo nominations are going to be posted in this thread. Anyone who wishes to post a logo post it here.
I will appoint Phil to lead the balloting. After all he is our Sergeant Enforcer.
So I'll say that From now to May 31 you can post a candidate for a logo in this topic. Make your pick of the logo by pasting it and sending your vote to Phil via private message. That way nobody needs to know if their logo didn't receive the amount of votes they hoped to get.
On June 1 (or as soon as possible after) I would like Phil to announce which logo has been selected as the new site logo.
As soon as possible after the announcement when I can log on and read for more than just a few minutes I will change the logo to the selected sketch.
All members are welcome to post a sketch and you can post more than one.

I suggest we make a voting thread of some sort, or just a topic with all the logos shown, that way no one has to look through all the pages, makes it easier on them...

Apart from mine (obviously) I think that Mist's logo is the best. I may attempt a rather better effort on the professional software (fireworks) at school, but don't count on it coming soon.

I moved the logo sketches over to the poll but I'm going to let Phil decide which posts are what number.

 Could this pic be a possible mascot if not part of the logo? It might have copyright we're not suppose to use I don't know the Legality of it but it's a nice image of Lewa the "Father" of Lewasite. |

that would be a pain to render [take the image from the background to use on a logo]... with the green blending in to the rest how it does, but maybe sometime soon I can get around to it... it could make it a lot easier to work with it... Although where it says "Lewa" might have to be partially there.

Nope, not too late. This is now May 31 so there's until midnight tonight to submit and there's 7 days of voting with the possibility of a short extension if there has to be 1.
