Dude... Chinese artists are the crap. That's like... 500 miles long. I think it's my new favorite picture ever.
I like the dude who fell off his horse.

OMG We're talking a major league pitcher catching a guy in the mug. Do you really think that's an accident?
Sometimes I'm not sure when that happens.
I know if a batter crowds the plate the pitcher might throw inside to back him up and that's called 'giving him some chin-music' but that's more than chin music.

For the most part I agree with Phil but sometimes the ball just does get away from some pitchers.
Classic missed over two weeks in 2003 with an ankle beaning.
Pitchers are wilder in AA than they are in MLB though for sure.

Today whilst umpiring I was hit:
On the left arm, right arm, right shin, shoulder (no idea how), and face (good thing for masks).
Also, the catcher dropped his helmet right on my foot.
Stupid 10 year old

Umpires do get hit rather often. Even in the Majors where the Pitchers have the most control. And I might add they have the most speed too.
So that makes it worse if the pitch is wild.

You think Roadway trucks go faster than a Roger Clemmons fastball?
