this should be in the websites board. I would move it if I was listed as a mod in the boardps Team MageI registered a while ago but I still need my account approved.

Actually, all that link goes to is a frame hosted on the ".tk" servers that loads information from the destination URL, within their page. A domain name is the element a DNS server uses to forward a client to the unique IP address of the server. They cost around $15 a year. I believe the .tk infrastructure is owned by whatever corporation yielding unlimited access for them without cost. Since "artistzngamers" is hosted on a sub-domain it would require an additional IP for the for you to own a true domain name, unless of course, you can register other domains to domains, but that would be redundant.
On another note, I used to have an apache Linux server in my bedroom with basic HTML. It works well for text and CPU intensive sites (forums, anything using database really). But images and information heavy files where slow. Plus, the SSH tunnel is convenient for full control remotely over a computer from any spot in the world. I should set it back up, it hosted a dedicated Soldat server at one point. It had FTP, CS 1.6, Team Speak . . . I could probably make a IRC server, but there's no need.
