It looks like voting is going to be on the docket for a few other states to possibly place into law soon.

Hector 'Macho' Camacho is another example of drug use leading to drug abuse and to death. Along with a long criminal record. He had been arrested for burglary, punching his teenaged son, and a bunch of other things too.
In Puerto Rico he nearly had his car jacked while being attacked. His reply was 'since everybody loves me they must not have known who I am,' and he never filed charges. I have to think not filing charges was becasue he was also doing illegal things and did not want that investigated. But what do I know

I don't know if it was a drug thing necessarily but he was kind of a jerk. I didn't know he labeled himself "Mr. Loveable" That's absurd.

Jesse Ventura during a talk said 'pot is to rock concertsas beer is to baseball' I wasn't sure how to take that but when I watched that on youtube, all I could do was laugh.

Don't start the revolution without me. You should imitate Jesse Ventura again on video. I don't know that I'd call that the same thing but it's an interesting point anyway.

Ventura was a heel wrestler and a heel commentator and he is kind of a heel politician too. But I agree with a lot of what he says other times I find his views far fetched.

Yeah, dad here has been mocking or commenting about Jesse Ventura but you also say that "imitation is the highest form of flattery. "

The legal drinking age is 18 in most countries. It is. Younger even. The difference is the culture here vs. elsewhere. Here the mentality seems to be, "why stop now?" and they'll just push those limits because they can, or because they just want a story to tell out of it. It's stupid. Personally I think lowering it to 20 just because you're right out of your teens would make sense just to test things out, then maybe 19, because most 19 year olds would be of college age anyhow, but anything less than that just wouldn't work here. As far as weed goes, I think it could have it's place for therapeutic purposes. I know people who use it and they're productive workers and not lazy stoners. The problem is state vs. federal. My state has dispenseries that keep getting shut down because under federal law it's still illegal. The other thing is people who would use it just to get stoned for the sake of being stoned. No, you can't compare it to things like crack and meth, but again, the attitude over here would be among some would be one of a party mentality and for it to be completely legal, no prescription required would just contribute to that stupidity.

I remember when it was 18 in the United States. I was not of drinking age at the time but I was aware of that.
I understand the debate that if you can die for your country at 18 you should be able to drink, but I don't think the standard of 21 is a bad way to leave it. They could make it so you can be younger than 21 if you're in the service and show military ID. I suppose that could complicate it for some people but that's a way to compromise on that.

21 just doesn't make sense to me though. Once you're 20 you're no longer a teenager, so that makes more sense. Or if it's made 18, graduating high school, which ever happens first.
