What about all those deadly tornados in the South? Anyone here have family there? I have some in Arkansas and Tennessee and they are safe.

It seems nomatter where you live you're going to deal with something.
I had to double shift yesterday that's why I wasn't here.
Some of it because of weather, the rest because of pansies who were hung over the day after the Super Bowl making members of my shift stay Monday. That made it so my obligation to double came Tuesday instead of some day next week. Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I don't blame them it sucks weatherwise out here.
The last couple days have been like a sleety crappy thing. And black ice.
Snow gets in the way but my truck has a plow so I can clear out my driveway. This icesleet crap is something altogether different.

I tip my hat to all Canadians. You seem to take to Winter just fine. I know my friend and her family does. As crappy as it is they manage. She tells me : "It is impossible to freeze a Canadian" ;D

You can freeze a Pennsylvanian.
There's snow again. Not enough to cause trouble just enough that I have to run a few scrapes of the driveway. I knew it was coming the plow is not coming off my truck anytime soon.

Before I was married I spent about a month working on a project in the Pasadena area. Then I spent about 3 weeks about a year later in the San Diego area.
I loved it I even asked my wife [girlfriend at that time] if she was interested in living out west I could put in for a transfer.
By the time this and that happened there was no request for a move. But I did get to spend some time on the west coast. And it is awesome.
