I remember the bicentennial. I was a little kid but I remember it well enough. The local supermarket parking lot around the 4th of July with a big cake in the parking lot with 200 candles. Looking back I doubt the cake was real but it was pretty awesome to see when I was little.
I will be 40 upon my next birthday. That's a ways off but when everybody else is saying uh oh 30 and uh oh 35 I'd be glad to be 35 again. lol

blastgirl that's cool you were born on new years eve. I love new years eve it's like the biggest party of the year when the ball drops and new years day starts a brand new year. I was born july 8 and I will be 32. I am getting up there in age.

We all say my Mom missed out on two big parties to have us.  |
