Awesome......I can't understand a word... Do you have the cylinder for "Who Let the Dogs Out?!" ? If the cylinder is hard to understand, just open up the video from the Youtube website instead of just watching it here in the post I made (Double click it). I have the lyrics posted underneath in the video description. And no, I don't have the cylinder for that song, and I wouldn't want it either (It makes me want to bang my head on a brick wall after a minute or so). But it CAN be made through a shaving and recording process. But that can only be done on the older, softer, brown wax cylinders. They use those because they are extremely vulnerable to mold, and usually the worst ones cannot have a thing heard from them. So they shave them down and make new recordings. People were actually able to do it back when these machines first came out, and some even recorded their own rants and raves on them, along with final wills and other amateur stuff. Pretty cool actually.

As I listen to the songs, I feel like doing the Charleston, even though these songs are probably from before that time. Now I'm in the mood to watch some silent movies. Awesome find, Jersey Life.

Heh! Me, too. But, it's the stupid songs that get stuck in your head.

That would suck. But it is brittle old materiel though and it wouldn't take much to break it. Obviously the guy doing the demonstration knows his product and wasn't rougher with it than he felt he can be. That's just a bad happening but not necessarily his fault.

I can understand the Phonograph. Its not as clear as a CD. I'm just kidding I didn't think it would be. I hate the WHO LET THE DOGS OUT SONG too.
That's a shame that guy dropped the cylinder. Its irreplaceable I'm sure.

I've seen that video before. That's why you don't let a geriatric guy with the shakes handle fragile heirlooms. If I were that guy, I'd kick my own butt, if I could reach it.
