i am not a gormay cook or anything but I can make just about anything thats simple I'd give Jason more than that. I think for a 13 year old he's very handy around the house with meals, and fixing things as well as organizing things all around.

A few days ago I made some jalapeno popper dip, which my family loves. It's a simple recipe:
16 oz cream cheese (softened) 8 oz sour cream 8 oz shredded cheese (I usually use colby jack) 8 jalapeno peppers (I use pickled jalepeno halves, sort of like the ones served on nachos)
Finely dice jalapenos and mix all ingredients together, leaving some extra shredded cheese. Put into a baking dish. Use the extra cheese to top the dip, then bake for around a half hour at 350. Serve with chips (tortilla chips, corn chips, doesn't matter dude).

....I find that I need to pick up some cream cheese. I have everything else.
I fired up the grille this past weekend (in below freezing weather). My steak alone took up almost the entire grille.
Guess I'll have to get a bigger one! heh.

Guess I'll have to get a bigger one! heh. We have a George Forman grill in the kitchen. It doesn't get used often. I haven't eaten steak at home in years, just at restaurants. I have the urge for chicken wings at Branns, last time I went they were so good!

The best steak I've ever had was one I made myself at home. It was a center eye chuck steak (which is so good for the money) sauteed to medium rare. Then I made a balsamic vinegar reduction and some roasted potatoes to go along with it.

Mine was a New York Strip - naked cooked.
Chopped onion and a little bit of A-1 in a puddle for dipping when I wanted.
Mashed tatters and green beans.
Nummy!

Another thing I'm beginning to miss now that I'm not playing and traveling to familiar places on a regular basis, I do miss some of the restaurants my teammates and I would frequent when we would go to certain cities.

We're doing a cookout retreat next weekend. I will be off memorial day. We are not going far far away just a resort lake wooded area. I'll have my laptop so I'll keep lewasite apprised of whats happening.

I've got to try this; it sounds so good.
