My dad is going to kill me and my uncle alan we used his truck for a party yesterday well we got adventurous and got it stuck on a wet path i mean really stuck because we kind of slipped off the path and got the passengers side wheels off the solid ground into soupy much when we tried to work it back and fourth we just dug deeper in and barried my dads truck to the frame
my uncle alan got a jack and some logs he kept jacking the truck up and putting logs under the tires
it took about 2 hours but he got the logs built high enough and then by rocking it back and fourth some more and throwing wood ships and mud everywhere broke it free drove it uphill until he got it back onto the path
he kept saying phil is going to kill me, phil is going to kill me
we took it to my grandpas big place where he keeps some old cars and tractors i stayed at my uncle alans and this morning we washed that truck I even put on a rain suit and rolled under it on a creaper using my grandpas pressure washer alan washed it and waxed it and it looks great we just got to my house a few minutes ago but my dad and my mom are not home yet
so my uncle alan is definite about telling my dad instead of me doing it even though it was my idea what does everybody else think

If you've got it all cleaned up, there shouldn't be a problem, should it...?

How did he find out? Or doesn't he know yet? ;D
Were you driving or was your uncle?

I think by telling this here any chance of keeping it under your hat is gone.
It's not as if he's not going to read this if you hadn't already told him. Obviously your hat blew off and the secret is out.

What?? You fools got my truck stuck? I'll kill them where are they, I'll pound their heads in I'll rip their hats off with their heads still in them.
I'm only teasing. Alan told me all about it he wouldn't put you through that. He only told you he was going to say you got it stuck. That's a soupy part of town we my parents place is and in the 'back 40' we call it, there's a stone trail but it got slippery muddy and the truck slid off course.
I wouldn't have burried it of course but my less qualified little brother isn't the wheel man I am. They did a nice job getting it out of that pocket they got it stuck in though. I'm sure that ook a while.
In other ideas I suggest you sing up for the circus or join the Marines.

i posted this point but ground was wet and slippery so we didnt realize it was going to be like that so and we slid off the path thats all we didnt mean to get it stuck we were very careful to set the truck up the make it even so it could ride out without any serius damage
it needed big time cleaning but we washed it inside and out

Honestly if it had been me, I would have come clean and told my dad right away. If you wait too long to tell someone, you just get into more trouble. Sure you may still be in trouble when you say something right away, but not as much trouble if you wait too long. Trust me, been there, done that.

It would be funny to keep messing with this thread but the truth is my brother told me what happened immediately.
He did a nice job making sure there was no damage done. That path was slippy and the drop was about 3 feet.
My brother did a nice job making wood platforms from logs and branches and bridged it back onto the path.

I recall getting it stuck and Jason saying "MY dad's going to kill us" I tried to asure Jason the he was safe. "Your dad is tired of cutting grass he will not kill you."
I got some blocks and set up a platform so I could drive off the blocks and back onto the trail. We washed the truck inside and out very carefully, and then I leveled with Phil. You have to tell him no matter how tempting it was to not do that.
I did keep telling Jason I was going to say he did it though.

All the 'not me' people in this world and it hits as home as my brother and my son.

I thought of this poll question when I happened to be reading this. The language in this chart is a little rough for the board. But I'm going to post this with that as a disclaimer.

Its a little big I don't know how to fix that though. I'll have Classic or someone shrink it.
