I'm not an only child, but there is a big gap between my 2 siblings and myself. I have often told forum members why that was. Since there was such a gap I was left to do most of the more difficult chores somewhat because the other kids weren't old enough to operate saws, lawnmowers be up on ladders and so forth. By the time I was getting married the were starting to be able to do those things. But most of the time we all lived together those jobs were mine.
