Pumpkin: You'll be about 3 hours drive from Jersey (the man) in D.C. but, realize, you'll have to give up your hand guns and your right to vote Republican or Conservative - lest you be shunned into exile....
Why are you moving from TX?
Jason: You should get Phil to do a vid from the roof. You could be hammering away (out of camera, as Phil prefers) and swear as you hit your finger!
fartinggurl: Thanks about the view. (Pumpkin, too). I love where I'm at.
As far as you know; who's the closest member to you? I forget where you live (Ohio, but near what big city?).

Why are you moving from TX? Whew! You got that right! I don't know how I will do in the land of tax, spend other people's money, and gun control. My wife's job is taking us there---We'd rather stay here in Texas, believe me, but we have no option, at least for a few years. I'm going to miss that Texas "can do" optimism and spirit.

"Everything is bigger in Texas"
Your wife's job is taking you there...
For how long?
And, now you have to ask yourself this question......'How much do you love your wife? And, can you let her move there by herself?'
Ha! Just kidding! Go. Have fun. New surroundings usually help people flourish and break old habits.

pumpkin you have a job that makes it so you move a lot i have had some friends move in and even move away because theres transfers. sometimes they think its fun to move a lot but I had 1 friend who said that he would rather live in 1 place for a while
what do you like better in the army you probably have to move whereever they send you there is probably no choice its vital service to our country though
i have never lived anywhere else. I guess we lived in a trailer park when I was first born but I dont remember not living in this house

If you're a Navy Seal or Marine Sniper you live wherever you want..... ;D
It's like, "What does a 2,500lb elephant have for breakfast? Anything he wants." "What does a millionaire drive? Anything he wants."
Heh.

[Edit: Using Toledo as an example I see that I'm 3 hours 10 minutes from you by car (48 minutes by Cessna C172). Phil is 5 hours 8 minutes (Phil doesn't fly) [Maybe Phil can calculate Rail time for us?] Mahnarch, I live about three hours away from Toledo. I don't want to say exactly what part of Ohio I live in, but I do live about 2 hours away from Cleveland, and 2 hours away from Columbus.

By triangulation that puts you in one of Maven's old haunts. I'll PM you my guess. I may have taken you out on a date, once....if you're from that town.
