I haven't been to Bush Gardens, but I've been to Cedar Point twice. Anyway, I hope you have fun on your vacation.

We shall expect to not see you for the rest of the week then. I think after watching the YouTube blogs it's good for Phil to get out of the snow for a few days. I imagine work in that kind of industrial job that hard overnight work in cold warrants a break and that will help a lot.
I have lived in the south for a long time now but I have mentioned I am also from the North East originally and I know how it gets when its cold for long spells. My brothers are builders and they feel the fatigue right about now too.
So Lewasite will be here and take care until Monday or whenever.

Im sure Busch Gardens will be lots of fun and you get a chance to get away from the snow. And the snow will be there waiting for you when you get home. ;D

Theres a Busch Gardens that is no longer there? Im surprised a nationally famous theme park would be closed. I guess its hard to compete with Disney Land but in a city the size of LA I woudlnt think theyre really competing much at all.
Maybe thats not why its not still there either.
I dont know a lot about theme parks but I think Six Flags owns a number of parks all over the world.

We're home now. We got home about an hour ago. It was fun, warmer and really a nice retreat.
I was told that there was little or no snow most of the week but it's snowing now just about the same as it was when I left.
I have to go to work tonight but that's ok. I'm ready I really did need the days off. More than I even realized.

You came home from your trip just a few hours ago and now you're going to work? You sure are a trooper.
Did you drive or fly? Oh dah probably the train.

Actually we flew. Tranis are kind of cool but they're only mildly faster than driving. You don't have traffic and stop lights otherwise it's about the same thing.
I can if I don't abuse it get a free passage. I'm not supposed to go up to a ticket window with my wife and 3 kids and say 'I'm Phil Ostrotkiewicz, Penn-York technician and I need passage to Tampa here's my card.'
I've pulled that once in a while for a short trip if I needed to but that's supposed to be only a work oriented move.
Last summer 2 or 3 times we trained to Pittsburgh for Pirates games that way just Jason and me though not the whole family. I put my card up and said 'I'm the technician and this is my assistant. ' Kind of a wink wink thing but I wouldn't abuse that.

I have noticed that too. A lot of the travel through baseball is by way of commuter trains.

That's something I can say is that the tracks go through the woods and the backways but the backways are still very much there. For those saying that our woods are disappearing.

We have Disneyland, California Adventure Park, Knotts Berry Farm, Six Flags Magic Mountain,Lego Land, Sea World and San Diego Wild animal park. I guess you have to appeal to whatever is popular.

I would think a City the size of LA has just about everything. New York, and LA have to be the most wide variety markets.

True Mrs Blast.. We are big. I think the reason is? We Angelino's have so much to do here we are always looking for more thrilling and exciting. Pretty gardens and how to make beer doesn't compare to zero gravity thrill rides and places like Universal Studios where you can be part of the movie making industry.

It was fun to try another park. Although the theme is similar they are a little different I think we enjoyed it overall.
