Does anybody have any special Thanksgiving plans? Blastgirl and I might take the boys to see my family.

For me: It's me and mum sitting by ourselves for my first Thanksgiving in my own house.
All previous T-Days were at Mum's old house and every gathered there. The additional 30 miles seems to put everyone else off, this year.
....bas tards.
Oh, well. This will be the first turkey that'll be cooked in my own house without the feeling of "rush rush rush" to get the turkey to ma's house (cuz it's never frozen, always fresh, with my company).
Plus, it's more left overs for me and mum.

Also, on the Friday after, I'm going to be on the 'emergency list' for work - just in case we run into any problems at work that needs to be taken care of.
But, I'll be listed under the 'Warehouse Only' list. I won't do any semi/straight truck runs but, I'll pull a skid or two for a few of our other drivers.

Overnight shift is kind of broken. I don't have to work Wednesday going into Thurdsay but I do have to work Thursday going to Friday.
So technically I work an hour of Thanksgiving night.
That means don't drink too much. Only kidding.
We will have a nice feast right here at our house. And watching football games is part of the tradition too.

I volunteered to work. This is the first year Walmart will be open on Thanksgiving day. Friday is "Black Friday" the biggest day in retail sales. I will get holiday pay plus I have no family close by for dinner anyway.

Georgetown University is in Washington DC but believe it or not there's a Georgetown, California. It's in the San Francisco and Oakland area. I spent time at the baseball camp at the University of California the summer of my sophomore to junior year and again my junior to senior year. Cal Bears baseball camp is afiliated with the University of California in Berkley. I was not a student at the University. But I stayed near Georgetown informally called G Town during my 3 week stays at baseball camp. That's the only reason I've heard of it. If my contract is not renewed for this coming baseball season I might put in for a job there for the coming baseball season.

The Clippers are moving to an awesome new stadium and are going to be the AAA affiliate of the Cleveland Indians this coming season. For Thanksgiving I'll be making the drive home from college and enjoying lots of great food.

hahaha. You typed "g down" and I thought it was G' Town and that triggered this whole discussion. Anyway. If I don't get a contract renewal I might put in for a job with Cal Bears baseball camp. hahaha.

We have an early night Wednesday so we have time to sleep and get ready for Thanksgiving. I have to work Thursday night, but I should be fine. I'm debating an attempt at baking cookies or something, but I doubt I'll get around to it. We'll be going to my aunt and uncle's house and I expect it will just be the same routine, never any new food for years and years.

Homemade stuffing??? Eh...what's that? At least we'll have "real" potatoes, instead of the crap from a box.
