Way back in the 70's when I was in high school I marched in the band. We won many awards and took some out of state trips in the old yellow school bus. 4 or 5 hours in that tin can prompted many songs over and over including all of 99 bottles of beer.

Sang the whole song once, back when I was in Girl Scouts. We were going on a troop trip, and we sang the whole song. Our throats were raw at the end of that sing-along.

I dont think my friends and I ever could have the patience to get through 99 bottles of beer.
Were blond and were distracted my ch too easily for that to happen.

Well I think some old pasttimes are going to fall by the wayside because of laptops and even cell phones you can access the internet there's not that much need to sing 99 bottles of beer. But my teammates and I have sung it many of times along Interstate 10, Interstate 59, Interstate 71 and interstate 95. |

OH ok, I just read the wikipedia article and it says it derives from 10 Green Bottles, something I m much more familiar with  "10 green bottles, hanging on the wall, 10 green bottles, hanging on the wall, and if one green bottle, should accidentally fall, there'd be 9 green bottles, hanging on the wall."
