Heya everyones! Apologies for not being around lately - I started college!
...
Ohcrap. I just remembered... I totally forgot about my exclusive with Mahnarch! *panics* Sorry mate! I'll get around to that ASAP.
But yeah, I started college. I'm part-time - I'm only taking American Literature and Beginning Music Theory. So far it's a lot of fun.
But... I'm having a problem that I never dreamt I'd have. In high school, I was always that dorky kid that never got any lady-attention (Autumn escapade notwithstanding). Well... uh, the tables have uh, turned.
The girls like me.
*hides*
Seriously, I've picked up a few stalkers, and more than a few trustworthy folk have told me that I'm quite the subject of conversation in the dorms. I dunno how this happened, but somehow magically I am being considered "cute."
Anyhow, I *may have* met a girl that I may or may not like, but I'm not really going to pursue a relationship with her, at least not now. My life is complex enough without having to deal with the seatbelt-less rollercoaster ride that is a relationship. But she's the kind of girl that I could totally go for, so I dunno... the main things are that 1) she has a passion for music and 2) she seems to enjoy talking a great deal...
... so we'll see what happens from there.

Good luck. It's good that you chose to find a new chapter in life. New chapters can be challenging and also have you nervous too. I was traded this past off season making a similar situation for me. I've been moved along before but this was harder because it is farther from where Blastgirl and I live. So I had to get a furnished apartment and some weekends Blastgirl comes here and the kids stay with her parents.
I really can't wait to just go home. If they'll commit to the option on my final contract year (next season) I'll keep the apartment for the another year lease. That will mean paying for it for 7 months that I won't use it. But that's going to depend on what happens in December when a decision has to be made. If the option is not activated I mail the check and keys to the owners of the apartment and I'm out of the deal.
Oh well.
Have fun dating and all but don't get so wrapped up in the ladies that it badly effects the reason you're there. Just advice.
But keep us posted I'm glad you're in a curriculum.

Yeah study Vix.
I didnt go to school right away. I got a 2 year degree then I didn't go for a couple years then I got my teaching degree. I still am not guaranteed a classroom yet but they say January I should have a regular teaching schedule. So far Im just an in-house sub. A glorified babysitter.
Im glad you started something _glitch_

lol. well done glitch! if there is one thing that motovates me o study, its not getting a good job, or degree, o better quality of life,... its getting to experience college life. I can't wait to get that freedom and to study something I actually want to learn! hehe, good luck jason in middle school! remember one thing, if you keep quiet for the first three weeks, the teacher wil know your a good kid and you will get away with murder after that! I never got that part right!
glitch...i just remebered....lol anout your situation, I went though the same thing. as you probably know I was in london recently. well, I was the same, all of a sudden the girls liked me. (there was one girl I totally fell in love with, but later, I found out that three others would have killed for me¬¬) anyway, I have to remember though that now im going back to the same people that I knew for years....so it wont matter a feck! they will still be like: "ugh, its him"
good luck

How does the grade system work in Ireland aido179?
Jason is 11 he starts 6th grade. Usually you turn 18 about your senior year of high school/grade 12 in the United States. Is it similar in Ireland?

I think it's the same in britain. (Ireland's shcool system, I mean.)
In britain we have years. 7 in primary, (We start at 4 years til 11 or 12.) 6 in most high schools and I'm unsure about colledge.

Middle school will be fun Jason. You end up with different teachers instead of just 1 classroom all day. And you meet and make new friends from a variety of people that went to different elementary schools.
