My first name is Andreas, and it actually means "Man". And yet people say "Dude!!" all the time  EDIT: Some guy told me it can be translated from ancient Greek to "Warrior". Cool  |

Kevin: Anglicized form of the Irish name Caoimhín, derived from the older Irish Coemgen, composed of the Old Irish elements coem "kind, gentle, handsome" and gein "birth". Saint Caoimhín established a monastery in Glendalough, Ireland in the 6th century and is the patron saint of Dublin. Some of the more modern names are kind of made up too. In that I mean they are new and don't have a long traceable history.
My Sons both have old traditional names. Our two year old is Jacob and our Baby is John.
