Not a rerun. It was an episode and then a different one if you get me. More like a mini series.

Future-telling dreams are a fuzzy topic. The dream may be just a coincidence. It could be the reason for what happens. It could be something else. Another thing, people can hardly remember more than one dream a night, most aren't even aware that they're dreaming, and not many take future-predicting dreams seriously, especially if they don't seem significant. I think this isn't very discussable at all.
I think cold reading works for vague suggestions, but I've watched a few psychic shows today and they seem pretty convincing.
Did anyone actually read my post or does nobody have any comments?

Sorry to burst you guys' bubble, but this psychic ability stuff is all real. I'm actually a physical manifestation of God, you guys. I gave a very small percentage of the population psychic powers, just to screw with you guys. The Big Bang? Yeah, that was me. Aliens? Yep, there's around 328 million different races right about now, the closest to you inhabiting a rocky planet about 137 light-years away. And it really was the magic bullet that killed Kennedy. Magic's been around since the dawn of time, and most people have just been too stupid to notice it.
So peace out you guys, you got maybe another 267 years till the big asteroid comes. I'm really hoping you're all on Mars by then.
Oh, and Sodafan, remember to pick the blue one, despite what everyone says.

After all, he has a point, or at least the point that I derived from it. I.E, (semi-quoting from a book here): Literally anyone could state that the smallest asteroid in the asteroid belt is made of jelly and speaks French, and no-one could prove him/her wrong. No sarcasm, please. But isn't this a point? No-one can prove psychic abilities correct, but the same goes vice-versa. So, everyone believe what you want, and toddle off now. ... I'm such a hypocrite, aren't I. Okay, a new point to put forward- Devil worship. This is going a bit into the christian side of things, but it isn't something to deny- devil worshippers have been known to use real psychic ability. The problem is, that any person doing it gets to spend an eternity of oblivion, or the spiritual equivilant. What's more, some people (sadly) think that they're the ones doing it. And in case you think I'm going back on what I said about predicting the future being impossible, it is. Devil worshippers can only perform physical tricks, such as getting a spoon to hover for a bit. No time related stuff. And Slippy0 has presented another point of interest- you can slow time down, but not travel back or forward. Space missions have recorded this. However, slowing time down doesn't present any problems! It's perfectly possible. Of course, I've got a few gripes about it. I mean, once the spacecraft (assuming it can go fast enough to, say, slow time down to one sixteenth of the original speed) starts going really fast, the slowed time will also have an effect on the spacecraft. People fantasize about being able to travel to far-off places without getting old. This presents an issue. People watching (assuming they can spot a spacecraft moving at such a high speed, but this is theoretical) see the craft speed up, then, as time for the spacecraft slows down, it also slows down. If the craft gets to near lightspeed (which is theoretically possible, remember), the space craft will slow (to a person viewing it) to a measly 5 km/h. Gah. If the person steps into the spacecraft, they will suddenly be in a different time field, travelling at a really high speed. The other watchers will suddenly begin moving and talking really fast (because time in the spacecraft has slown down). To get to the point, travelling really fast to avoid ageing is impossible. The only thing that will change is that when you get back, the Earth will have been destroyed by whatever evolutionists think is going to happen, and you will be left floating in a field of debris until the oxygen exausts. If you're a Christian, then the 2nd coming will happen in about 2.5 seconds of attaining max speed. (Of course, it could be 7.5 seconds, or a couple of hours.) In fact, you will arrive at your destination at the same age as if time had not slowed down. The difference is that time around you will accelerate. Now, I'm probably wrong, because I don't know everything about how it works, but this is my understanding of it, from what I know. Feel free to prove me wrong.

what you say about speed is correct, but gravitational pulls have the same effect. There is practically no time at the center of a black-hole because the gravity is near infinite
a random interesting fact: If the earth where to be shrunk down to 0.3 cm and retain its current mass, time on the surface would stop.

We only use like 10% of our brain. Or is it less? I dunno. Oh, just read SodaFan's post. 10-15% I thought it was about 1%... Imagine if we didnt age, e.g lived forever. Our minds would become more and mroe trained, more information, more reflexes, and more control over our own mind. Yeah, we might use 10-15 percent of our brain in our life now... But that 10-15 percent is filled with basic "starting off" kowledge. After 200 years, I'll bet it'll still only be about 20%, but it will be higher quality. Scientists have discovered that the human mind, as it grows, is able to store more info. Yep. Thats right. The more you put in it, the bigger it gets, basically. Cool, huh? But of course...such an amazing system of comprehension and emootions and learrning and control over cells...just...EXPLODED all together in the big bang. Yep. Complete random chance. *scoff* Actually, god promises throughout the bible that we will in the future (besides some who go to heaven to rule over earth), live on earth with indefinite perfect health. No, we wont be robots. And we wont be god's *slaves* either. Dont beleive the bible is god-inspired? Well, neither did I at first. I was just like you. So were 6,500,000 others. But through careful study of prophecies, and scientific evidence, I have come to realize that god's word is in fact inspired by god. For more information, please please visit watchtower.org

for the record, I don't think religious preaching should be allowed on any other boards but the religeon/politics one.
But as for the matter of stuff exploding together, once again, more likely than you'd think. heres an example of what I mean: there is a box, 1 foot cube. and there are 64 atoms in a corner, they all start flying randomely. In some large number of years, say about a million or so, those atoms will be in EXACTLY the spot they started.
What I'm trying to demonstrate is that via 13 billion years of particles flying around aimlessly, eventually they get the right resaults. We know its very unlikely, clearly, from all the other uninhabited planets. But in a massive universe, some 28 billion lightyears across, some atoms surely have "exploded" into place.
now as to why the big bang happened, theres a whole theary involving the planct (SP?) second, and planct distance, blackholes popping in and out of existance from multi-universal energy sources, than one getting unstable and simple exploding.
As for where this energy comes from, that is a mystery still best described by religeon, as science can only guess as of now, and most likely never will, seeing as the world is scheduled to be engulfed in the sun in about 8 billion years.
I'm not arguing that There Is or isn't a god, BTW. I'm just saying that there is a scientific and somewhat reasonable explanation for how humans became the way they are.

The theory I saw on NOVA was something about dimentions crashing together or something really weird like that (it was a long time ago, I don't remember it clearly)

Theres more than 1 "big-bang" theory.
1. A body ran through the sun and tossed off parts they cooled and our 9 plantes were formed.
2. An astroid or somekind of traveling body crashed into 1 big body and sent broken parts across the galexy and they ended up where they are and because of the magnetic forces in each body they balance with their currend rotation system.
3. There are more theories that that but those are the lines they follow for a big-bang theory. Thats why its called theory.

sorry to tell you, but thats not what the big-bang theory is. What your referring to is how our solar-system formed, the big-bang is how the universe formed. Oh, those tiny details

Funny how so many discussions end up talking about god, life, dimensions and whatnot, don't you think?
I am not content with the earlier definitions of the big bang and how chance brought us here. This is my idea. (<-- Omg, its an orphan (graphic design/text term))
First, about that energy. Do you really believe there was absolutely nothing in the universe at one time? I believe the energy is here because it HAS to be. How can there be something if there is nothing? How can there have ever possibly been NOTHING? Isn't that simple enough?
Now, the big bang scattered atoms completely randomly in a kind of cloud throughout the universe. The atoms gathered because of the gravitational pull that each individual atom has. First these formed nebulas, clouds of matter. These condensed further into stars and planets. Etc, etc. Some planets, since there are probably at least a thousand (very likely far more) of them for every grain of sand on earth, had conditions suitable for an experiment (at the time, if you know what I mean) to put forth beings that can manipulate the world. Complex molecules somehow formed life. I don't know how, believe what you want, the important thing here is that it happened.
Life is similar to the energy in that I think it had to have happened anyway. There is a universe, but imagine there was never any life, and there was never going to be. Who is left to witness and manipulate the universe? Who is left to have feelings? Who is left to pursue happiness in the forms of wealth, pride, entertainment, anything? Life is and always was inevitable in my opinion. Life is different because there may be an explanation for how it started that is likely to be discovered by humans before we all die out. Its a lot easier to trace things back to a few million years ago on our planet than to the beginning of time.
But, do you really believe its possible that life just might never have happened? Can you say that some spiritual force INVENTED life, the universe, and everything, and back it up with reason?
Please comment, answer my questions if you can. That is, after all, the reason for a discussion board. In fact, all of you should be asking more questions.

well you brought up many good points of which I've never considered. My favorite is how you say "Life is and always was inevitable" its a very good point, and its probably true. probably Chances are (I must have something with probability...) that life would form anywhere are much higher than that of life never forming.
as for there being nothing, I don't quite know, (you have to remember that i'm still a freshmen in highschool, I don't actually learn these things (if I ever do) for another few years, possably collage). I mean, we can only really theorize, and believe what we want to believe. My personal belief is that there are infinite (possibly looping back onto itself) multi-dimensional space, in which universes travel, expand, contract, etc. the energy for our universe was already there, and all it needed was to shift onto our plane (which its constantly doing, but not enough for it to go big-bang like) and become unstable.
Remember these are what I believe, not what I'm trying to get you to take for fact.
now, as to how this multi-dimention-verse thing formed, we're kinda back where we started. A massive entity (now with infinite dimensions, oh happy day) of which we have no definate idea of how it formed, or where it ends, if it does. Which leaves me basically no more enlightened than when I started...
crap, knowing stuff complicates stuff.
